Frequently asked questions

Before you get in the kart

What's the minimum age to drive?

From age 14 and at least 150 cm tall for single races, from age 16 for group formats. Minors need a parent's authorisation.

Do I need a licence to drive a go-kart?

No, no licence needed. Before you start there's a briefing on the controls, flags and track rules.

Do I need to book?

For single races or small groups you don't need to book. For groups of more than 10 it's best to let us know before coming. In August we don't take bookings.

Do you provide helmets and gear?

Yes, we give you the helmet and balaclava. Just come in closed shoes and comfortable clothes.

I've never driven a kart - can I still come?

Of course. The Sodi RT8 is built for rental: stable and progressive. The opening briefing explains everything, then you learn by driving.

Can I come on my own or do I need a group?

On your own is fine for single races. Group formats run from 6 to 12 drivers.
